Back in June when I started Tombstone Tuesday, I had no idea that anyone else would pick up on the idea. Several bloggers have and I am amazed and flattered! These bloggers are also doing their own Tombstone Tuesdays:
- Becky Wiseman at Kinexxions
- Msteri at Heritage Happens
- Jessica at Jessica’s Genejournal
- Tim Agazio at Genealogy Reviews Online
- Thomas MacEntee at Destination: Austin Family
(If I’ve missed anyone doing Tombstone Tuesday, please let me know!)
I hope everyone has as much fun with their Tombstone Tuesdays as I’ve had with mine!

Amy,
I don’t do it as often as the rest of you, but I think it’s a fun post. It is strange that we think tombstones and cemeteries are fun…but they are. Thanks for giving ( guess i really stole it) me the idea…and for the link!
Tim
Good ideas (almost) always catch on. And your “Tombstone Tuesday” was a great idea. I’m glad to see that others are picking up on it too! Cemeteries are one of my favorite places to visit
They have some interesting artwork, are usually quiet and peaceful; somehow calming to the spirit (at least during daylight hours). Thanks for the idea and allowing us thieves to utilize it.
It is a great idea and I hope to be able to join in in the not too distant future.
Tim and Becky — Cemeteries are lots of fun! Some of my favorite places are cemeteries! And yes, maybe that makes us a little strange, but why be normal?
Apple — Come on in, the water’s fine!
Amy,
This is awesome!!! I absolutely positively love cemeteries … I sue to think I was wierd until I discovered the world of family research. Can you give me more information on Tombstone Tuesdays? I would love to participate.
I enjoyed ‘getting to know you’ and look forward to visiting your blog on a regular basis – hopefully my DAR life will slow down and give me more time for my own reserach and fun!
Fondly,
Cindy
Hi Amy, I do not have the tombstones that you have by any means, but I am enjoying “Tombstone Tues!” I did try to post that I found the original idea I thought from you and hoped you didn’t mind if I followed suit. You may never have seen that, but I was trying mot to just “steal” the idea!
You should feel honored that others are following, it is a fantastic idea!
